Insider Membership Agreement

The Job Lot Insider® Club (the "Program") is available to individual United States residents who are 18 years or older. The Program is operated by Ocean State Job Lot and its affiliated companies (collectively referred to as "OSJL", "we", "us", "our") in the United States. Please visit an OSJL retail store or click here to register for the Program.

Your participation in the Program is governed by the terms of this Membership Agreement, with such participation including without limitation registration, use, access, and data requests. By participating in the Program you agree to the terms of this Membership Agreement, as well as the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any Additional Terms, all of which are incorporated herein by reference, and as may be modified by OSJL.

By participating in the Program you further agree to (1) receiving emails from OSJL at the email address provided by you (subject to your ability to opt-out as further provided in the Privacy Policy), (2) OSJL requesting and maintaining information about you as deemed necessary by OSJL for administration of the Program, and (3) OSJL compiling information about items purchased or returned, payment methods, or your activity with emails from OSJL.


The Program


The Job Lot Insider® Club is a free program that gives our most loyal customers easy access to our very best deals. Benefits of The Program include (1) getting our weekly coupons automatically loaded to your Insider account, (2) receiving amazing, Insider Exclusive deals via email each week, (3) receiving Insider Sneak Peaks (be the first to know about exciting closeouts), and (4) returns without receipts. Your use of Program benefits may be subject to additional terms, conditions, limitations, and/or exclusions. Program benefits may only be used by you, the Insider associated with the account. You must present your Insider car, or other identifying information to look up your Program account if you do not have your Insider card with you, to use Program benefits and OSJL reserves the right to deny such benefits if you do not do so. In the event you return a previously purchased item, you may no longer qualify for certain Program benefits previously offered with such purchase.


Program Account


The Program is available in all OSJL locations and there is no fee to become an Insider. To sign-up, please visit any OSJL location and provide your email address, zip code, and primary phone number to receive a Job Lot Insider® card. You can also sign-up online here.

By creating an account and participating in the Program, you agree to provide and maintain accurate personal information, including email address, zip code, and phone number. You can update the email associated with your Insider Account at any store location. Phone number and zip code can be updated in store, or online by logging into your account.


Program Modifications and Termination


OSJL reserves the right to modify the terms of this Membership Agreement at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, even if such changes adversely affect your Program benefits. OSJL further reserves the right to terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You are responsible for remaining up-to-date with the most current version of the Membership Agreement and the most current versions of the Membership Agreement, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any Additional Terms will be available on the OSJL website.


Privacy


Protecting customer information is an important priority for Ocean State Job Lot. We have policies and procedures in place to ensure customer information is protected. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.


Miscellaneous


OSJL reserves the right to terminate the participation of any individual in the Program at any time, as well as take legal action as necessary, including without limitation if an individual engages in fraudulent activity or violates the terms of the Membership Agreement, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Additional Terms, or federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances. Neither Program benefits nor the Program card are redeemable for cash. OSJL is not responsible for any failure to make Program benefits available, nor to issue an accounting of purchases. All inquiries or disputes regarding eligibility, receipt or use of Program benefits, or applicability of the terms of the Membership Agreement, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or Additional Terms shall be resolved in our sole discretion.


Program FAQs

Card

  • What happens if I lose or forget my card?
    • Your phone number can be used to look up your account number at the register and you can use your phone number in place of your card. You can sign-in to your account when making purchases on the Site
  • What happens if I have a problem with my card?
    • You don't need your card to receive the benefits. Your phone number can be used to look up your loyalty account number at the register and you can use your phone number in place of your card. You can sign-in to your account when making purchases on the Site.
  • Can anyone in my family use my card?
    • If you share your phone number then, yes, members of the same family can use the same card. If you want to use your own mobile phone number, then you will need to register for your own card.
  • Can you accept a card that is on a mobile phone?
    • Yes, we can accept a card image from a mobile phone.

Phone Number

  • Why do you require a phone number and what will you use it for?
    • We require a phone number so you can use it as an alternate form of identification to get your savings in store. Your phone number will not be used for any marketing purposes. It's purpose is to provide you with a way to access your savings without having to carry a card.
  • Can I use a mobile number?
    • Yes, you can use a mobile phone number as your primary phone number.
  • Can I use my phone number in store instead of my card?
    • Yes there is no need to carry a card, you can provide your primary phone number instead when checking out.
  • How do I update my phone number?
    • You can update the phone number associated with your Insider account at any store location, or online by logging into your account.

Email

  • Why do you require an email address and what will you use it for?
    • As a Job Lot Insider® we want to make sure we can send you the latest information on your savings and other program benefits. Your email address will be used to send emails with information about the program.
  • How do I update my email address?
    • You can update the email address associated with your Insider account at any store location.
  • What if I already participate in the email program, do you still need my email address?
    • To identify you as a Job Lot Insider® even if you get our emails currently we need your email address. Once you become an Insider you will receive a slightly different email than you might have gotten in the past and special emails just for our Job Lot Insiders®.
  • How many emails can I expect to receive and how often?
    • Right now we send about three emails per week and on occasion may send an additional one with special information just for our Job Lot Insiders®. Don't worry we respect the time of our Insiders and won't flood your inbox with emails.
  • What if I decide that I don't want to receive emails?
    • If you want to opt out of our email list, you can do so by visiting any store location, online by logging into your account, or by using the unsubscribe link included within the emails sent on behalf of OSJL.

Coupons

  • How can I find out what coupons are on my card?
    • The coupons available each week are available on our website or check your email for details.
  • Can I still use manufacturer coupons in conjunction with a digital coupon?
    • Yes, Ocean State Job Lot will accept a manufacturer coupon in combination with a Job Lot issued Internet Coupon honoring up to, but not over, the product purchase price.
  • How often are coupons available?
    • Coupons are refreshed every week on Thursday and redeemable through the close of business the following Wednesday.
  • How will digital coupons appear on my receipt?
    • Digital coupon savings will appear on the receipt directly below the item.
  • What happens if an item I have a coupon or special deal for is out of stock?
    • The store will offer you a rain check to be redeemed at a later date once the item is back in stock.
  • Can I redeem an offer multiple times?
    • With regards to coupons and other special loyalty card promotions the same limits and exceptions will apply. Coupons and other promotional discounts will not be combined.
  • What happens if a coupon discount is not applied to my transaction?
    • Please alert the store team with your receipt and they can resolve any issues.
  • Are there other coupon policies?
    • The Ocean State Job Lot coupon policies still apply and can be found on our website here.
