No purchase necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. By participating in the Insider Club Giveaway, each Entrant ("Entrant") unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with, and abide by these terms (the "Official Rules") as well as the decisions of Ocean State Jobbers, Inc. ("Sponsor"), which shall be final and binding in all respects. Cannot be combined with any other Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes").
Eligibility: Insider Appreciation Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the nine (9) states Ocean State Job Lot operates in (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VT, PA). Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Ocean State Jobbers, Inc. and other companies associated with the promotion of the Sweepstakes, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies as well as the immediate family member(s) (e.g., spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Giveaway is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Giveaway is void in all other jurisdictions and where prohibited by law.
Sponsor: This Insider Appreciation Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Ocean State Jobbers, Inc. dba Ocean State Job Lot, located at 375 Commerce Park Rd., North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852.
Agreement To The Official Rules: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Sweepstakes Entry Period: The chance-based Sweepstakes begins on October 10, 2024 at 8:00 pm Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on October 16, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET ("Sweepstakes Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified.

How To Enter: Current Insiders are already automatically entered to win. To register as an Insider, visit Insider Club (https://www.oceanstatejoblot.com/insider-club), select "Create Insider Account" and follow the directions provided to qualify as an entrant. Registration is subject to Insider Membership Terms (https://www.oceanstatejoblot.com/insider-member-terms). Limit one (1) entry per person, per email address, and per household for the duration of the Sweepstake Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person, email address, or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. By submitting an entry, Entrants agree they meet the following requirements: They have complied with the rules; their content does not infringe or violate any third party rights; and, their content does not violate any law. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Submission of an entry serves as waiver of Entrant’s right of approval and as irrevocable consent to Sponsor's right to repost, share, or otherwise use the Image Submission for marketing purposes.
Prize Drawing: On or about October 25, 2024, the Sponsor will select potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner via email provided by mailed submission or the Insider account information on or about October 25, 2024. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries. By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use the winner's name and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply.
Winner List: To obtain a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope to the Sponsor at Sponsor’s address listed above. Requests must be received within two (2) weeks of the close of the Sweepstakes Period and must include the name of the Sweepstakes. Requests submitted from outside the U.S. must remit return postage.
Winner Notification: The one (1) of three (3) potential prize winners will be notified via email. The one of three potential prize winners will be required to complete, electronically sign and submit a Declaration of Compliance within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. OSJL will mail the prizes to a valid U.S. postal address within fourteen (14) business days of the prize winner claiming their prize. If any of the potential winners cannot be contacted, or fails to submit the Declaration of Compliance within the required time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, said potential winner forfeits the prize. If the potential winner is at least eighteen (18) but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance on the potential winner's behalf and fulfill any other requirements imposed on winner set forth herein. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain unawarded. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately eight to ten (8-10) weeks after the conclusion of the Contest.
- Prizes: Total prize value: $500 USD Ocean State Job Lot gift card. Prize consists of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. Limit one prize per family or household. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by the winner. There will be three (3) individual winners who will be given the following: One (1) $500 Ocean State Job Lot gift card to use in store.
General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the sweepstake is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the sweepstake is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the sweepstake to address the impairment and then resume the sweepstake in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules, or (b) terminate the sweepstake and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstake or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstake may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney's fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release and Limitations Of Liability: By participating in the sweepstakes, Entrants waive all right to, and agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the sweepstake, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), expense (including attorney’s fees) or cause of action arising out of or in connection with participation in the sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). Sponsor will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an Entrant's failure to receive prize notices due to Entrant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Entrant’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this sweepstakes; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or announcement of the prize[s]. If, in the Sponsor's opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify this sweepstakes in a manner deemed appropriate by the Administrator. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of the date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning Entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on submission.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, each Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Rhode Island. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules of the Insider Club Giveaway, Entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Rhode Island, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Rhode Island.
Privacy: Any personally identifiable information collected from Entrants will be subject to the Sponsor's privacy policy available at https://www.oceanstatejoblot.com/privacy-policy. Sponsor’s Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time and without notice.
Release and Disclaimer: The Sweepstakes is sponsored ONLY by Ocean State Job Lot and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any company other than Ocean State Job Lot. Ocean State Job Lot is solely responsible for all claims, liabilities and expenses of any nature arising from or relating to the Sweepstakes.
