Buyer's Assistant
 
General Description:
Looking for a well-organized, self-motivated individual to join the Buying Office
 
Essential Reponsibilities
  • Report creation and maintenance of reports
  • Assist buyer with various tasks
  • Store and vendor correspondence
  • Order processing and follow-up
  • Check and write purchase orders
  • Screen phone calls
  • Make appointments
  • Product research
  • General secretarial as needed
 
Qualification Requirements:
  • Previous importing or buying experience not required, similar office and computer experience or education expected.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Work well independently
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Good math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to concentrate in a fast paced environment
