Receiving Office Clerk
 
General Description:
Responsible for the accurate, timely processing of various receiving documents. Interfacing with drivers, operations and the buying dept in a very busy receiving office.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
Processing of receiving documents
Interfacing effectively with buying office and PO processing dept
Verify accuracy of packing slips
Ability to match packing slips with purchase orders
Placing items on hold
Working on the floor part of the day
Enter allocation quantities for cross-dock
Fax documents to vendors
Understanding of RF receiving, tagging, running & splitting
Other various tasks assigned by Area Manager
 
Qualification Requirements:
Must be able to speak and comprehend English
Data entry skills / Microsoft Office- Excel, Word
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
High degree of accuracy
Good math skills
