Receiving Office Clerk
 
General Description:
Responsible for the accurate, timely processing of various receiving documents. Interfacing with drivers, operations and the buying dept in a very busy receiving office.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
  • Processing of receiving documents
  • Interfacing effectively with buying office and PO processing dept
  • Verify accuracy of packing slips
  • Ability to match packing slips with purchase orders
  • Placing items on hold
  • Working on the floor part of the day
  • Enter allocation quantities for cross-dock
  • Fax documents to vendors
  • Understanding of RF receiving, tagging, running & splitting
  • Other various tasks assigned by Area Manager
 
Qualification Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak and comprehend English
  • Data entry skills / Microsoft Office- Excel, Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Good math skills
