Door Guard / Store Position in Cranston RI

General Description:

Part-Time/Hourly (two positions available). Must be able to work days, nights and weekends. Protect Company assets by working Store Management and Associates to help prevent loss/shrink.

Essential Reponsibilities

Create a safe customer experience through a visual presence at the front doors Collect, document and communicate theft and fraud intelligence related to internal and external theft issues on a daily basis with Management and written in communication log Perform bag inspections on all Associates and Management exiting the building Watch, observe and react to any suspicious activity, entering or exiting the store Interact with customers and Associates in a professional, courtesy, and respectfully manner Provide an extra set of eyes for the Associates at the registers handling customers who might forget items in the carriage. Perform bag checks on all customers that leave the store with backpacks/bags when a purchased has not been made and the customer came into the store without anything Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older Knowledge of security procedures including bag checks, preferred Must be able to stand for extended periods Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check and/or drug screen Good communication and written skills
