Picking Area Manager
 
General Description:
Responsible for coordinating and managing picking activities on a daily basis. The manager is responsible for supervising associates in a multi-culture environment, and is accountable for the safe, efficient operation of the area.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
Responsible for accuracy and standards compliance
Actively tracks all picking tasks to enforce timely fulfillment
Works to enhance and improve all picking processes to increase productivity
Carefully monitors all paperwork to ensure that proper completion and compliance with company standards
 
Qualification Requirements:
BA/BS degree is preferred
Experience with Manhattan/WMS is preferred
Must possess strong warehouse management systems; 3-5 years experience in an R.F environment required
Able to analyze data, possesses strong math skills, eager to learn and develop new skills
Excellent management and leadership skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently
Detail oriented and self motivated
Ability to create and maintain a strong team
