Application /Technical Specialist — KRONOS HR/PR
 
General Description:
The Application/Technical Specialist is responsible for the performance, reliability and stability of the Kronos HR/PR System. The ATS also participates in related projects and activities from initiation through transition to operations, including planning, design, development, and initialization of efficient information systems in support of core organizational functions. The ATS provides daily operational and production support for the Kronos HR/PR System. This role requires being conversant
 
Essential Reponsibilities
APPLICATION SUPPORT FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Kronos HR/PR users with system process improvement.
Test and evaluate system upgrades and fixes.
Installs Regulatory changes and upgrades for the Kronos HR/PR Systems.
Work with Kronos support and internal super users to resolve application issues.
Facilitates interactions between technical IT staff and Kronos business users.
Project technical leader for application implementations and upgrades.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical leadership in multiple technologies, including system architectures, database management systems, and hardware and networking technologies, multiple desktop operating systems and multiple server operating systems.
Develop and maintain an advanced understanding of contemporary technologies and methodologies including; architecture software design, construction, and deployment best practices, and component performance testing.
Assist with, project management and project leadership.
Provide technical support to third parties regarding the use, understanding, design, and implementation of Kronos HR/PR, providing end user and on-site support when required.
 
Qualification Requirements:
Strong application management and troubleshooting experience
Must be fully knowledgeable in Kronos programming languages, techniques and program design.
Must know Kronos HR/PR Systems stored procedures and Kronos Connect. (3+ yrs)
Ability to apply changes to the Kronos application
Ability to create SQL Reports (SSRS)
Recent experience supporting Kronos in an enterprise environment
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Work well with others and independently
Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
